What was your most memorable moment?
Hard to choose one. Kayaking within feet of a couple of feeding humpback Whales. Being so close to so much wildlife and them being at ease with out presence. Seals, cormorants, penguins, squas all within feet of us, and all of their choosing.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
All very good. The team were all safe and made an effort to balance kayaking with zodiac excursions.
Tell us about the expedition team
They were all really knowledgeable and very friendly. Hard to pick anyone above another but really good were Andy the Bird specialist, Santiago from the kayak team, Junior for warmth and photography, Maxim for his history and humour. The leader Aaron was the least engaging and appreciate he was working hard to make sure activities happened safely. He could have done a little more at meal times to engage and seek feedback from us.
Tell us about the Sea Spirit
All was really good and the crew could not do more. The cabin was as expected and always kept clean and tidy. A great variety of food, well presented and with not too much ceremony.
Tell us about the Kayaking
Really glad that we booked the kayaking in advance. It exceeded expectation with more interactions with nature. The guides were exceptional and made sure we were all safe and they worked hard to make sure we could get out as often as possible as well as ensuring we didn't miss other excursions. A massive thank you to Santiago and Luis. As well as all the other kayaks who also made it enjoyable
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Go with an open mind and book the kayaking in advance as it would not have been available to book on the ship
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Much more aware of the importance of Krill in the Antartic ecosystem and the need to continue to protect this special area.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Some advice on things to do in Ushuaia and perhaps a little more detail about the hotel pre embarkation
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Was prepared but apprehensive as well as excited.
