Amazing views of landscapes in places that you feel like no one has ever been. Icebergs, penguins, and whales that would show up at any given moment.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The zodiacs was another highlight of the trip. Getting onto land was the point of our trip. Seeing penguins up close in a natural wild habitat was so fun. The guides were in complete control and we never felt unsafe going ashore.
Tell us about the expedition team
Every member of the team was an expert in their field. They did a wonderful job answering questions about wildlife and their experiences. They always had a smile on their face and looked very excited to be doing their job.
Tell us about the SH Vega
SH Vega staff were amazing. Every interaction in the dining room was witha smile and happy to help with your meal. The bar staff was always helpful with a glass of wine or cocktail. Jan and Sunshine got to know us and would know when we were ready for a nice refreshment.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
We were not as cold as we thought we would be. The provided jacket is a fantastic memory and very warm. The ship was very comfortable at all times.
