What was your most memorable moment?
The most memorable moment for me was stepping on land in Antarctica. Seeing Antarctica and learning how this area affects the entire world and learning how important it is to protect the environment in Antarctica is the main thing I took away from this adventure.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I felt safe in the zodiacs, the guides made these excursions very interesting.
Tell us about the expedition team
The expedition team had expertise in all areas and knew their stuff and communicated very well. The geologist Marcus was the most impressive. My favourite lectures were about the ocean sea organisms.
Tell us about the Seaventure
The Seaventure is a great ship, it is nicely laid out for the dining room, lounge and lecture room. Everything was easy to get to. It was also quite stable in the rougher seas. Our cabin on the 4th level was the right size for my brother and myself. The bathroom was a nice size. The food was very good with nice selection for all three meals. You could also have lighter meals in the lounge. The ship had nice outside access on all sides with large windows in all the main rooms if you wanted to stay inside. I would for sure choose this ship again. I understand it has been sold and Polar Latitudes will only have it for one more year.
Something Else?
I liked everything about this adventure. If I had one recommendation for Polar Latitudes it would be to give more information about the excursions. Such as difficulty of the hike"s, how long on shore etc.

Know what your goals are and pick the right ship to meet your goals.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I appreciate Antarctica a lot more and now understand how important it is to protect it.

Great team members right from the start. Keep doing what you are doing, keep communicating like you do.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I was very prepared with Swoops help. I was nervous at first and then excited once I stated my journey.
