Always felt safe, very helpful crew/staff Loved being so close to the water Best moment: close whale encounter!
Tell us about the expedition team
Amazing Expedition Team - really knowledgeable and friendly. Nate was a great leader, and we also spent a lot of great times with Scotty, Annette, Paolo, Marcus, Jeannine, Paul. Our favorite presentations were on history, wildlife and geology
Tell us about the Seaventure
Great ship, spacious cabin, common areas were inviting, food was excellent, easy on/off access for excursions We would definitely choose it again and recommend to others!

We went thinking we would “knock off our 7th continent” but it turned into the adventure of our lifetime!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
With rain pants, boots and parka, you stay amazingly dry - no need for extra clothing Scopolamine patches worked beautifully
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Reinforced idea that we live on a really small, interconnected planet and we need to take care of it
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Keep doing what you’re doing! Visiting scientists (2 groups) were a real bonus - loved hearing about and seeing their work
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Well prepared because Ale was so intentional😉 And always excited!!
