What was your most memorable moment?
This is the one of the most difficult questions to answer because there were so many unforgettable moments, but I will mention the first day we arrived in Antarctica after crossing the Antarctic circle. It was snowing heavily and we went out on the Zodiac among ice slabs sorrounded by icebergs, we saw our first seals, whales, and of course, penguins. A typical Antarctic day.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I have already mentioned my first Zodiac cruise. Zodiac cruises are safe, do not cause sick motion, and provides you the experience of being close to nature.
Tell us about the expedition team
Amazing. We learned a lot about the wild life in Antarctica, the role of Antactica to the plannet and so many other thinks. Very skilled crew and sympathetic. My favorite lecture was about the magnetic and geographic pole.
Tell us about the SH Minerva
I would choose once again with no doubts. Comfortable cabins, bedding and towels of first quality, food and drinks for every taste and needs. It was above my expectations.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
My tip is go! No matter your age. You will never be the same.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, my concern about the cold weather, the sick motion crossing the Drake passage and possibles accidents do to not friendly environment remained in the past. I would do it again if it wasn't so expensive.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Internet is of bad quality even at the platinum level. Too slow. So, if you need internet for business purpose you will have problems. But, it is time to relax, not to make business.
