When the plane actually landed in Antarctica because we almost didn’t make it due to mechanical and weather issues.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Yes, I did enjoy all the Zodiac rides except for one. One expedition guide, Ang, wasn’t knowledgeable and pretty dry so that excursion wasn’t as fun. Meteor, Amber, and Chris were great. We actually learned stuff on those excursions. They provided great photos and good stories.

Tell us about the World Explorer
Food was ok. Maybe they can anchor the dining tables so going through drake passage, the tables are stable enough to not flip.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
It’s a weather dependent type of adventure. Don’t need to bring binoculars, they have them on the cruise.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes! I would go again.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
It was the ultimate destination on my list and it was absolutely amazing. I was excited and I think the only way for me to be ok now is to go to a longer one that visits other islands.
