Tell us about the expedition team
The expedition team is really what made this trip so memorable. Every member had a specialty they were highly experienced and knowledgeable in. Beyond just learning from them in lectures, they were also our zodiac drivers and experts in polar exploration.
Tell us about the Expedition
It was great having a cabin on the main floor of the vessel, especially in wavy weather. The ship was very suitable for this style of expedition. Also the variety and quality of food was above what I was expecting. Overall, I would definitely choose this ship again and I'm planning to visit the Artic aboard it.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Go in with an open mind on the itinerary, as weather changes fast and safety is the first priority. Also, bring a digital camera with a good zoom. I was so happy I brought my camera with me instead of just my phone to capture once in a lifetime shots!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I am definitely more aware of the issues that Antarctica is facing and I will be more mindful of my daily impact.

I felt highly for both! I especially appreciated all of Swoop's articles, booking portal, and the pre-trip webinar.
