Felt very safe. No notes. This is a great way to experience Antarctica.

10/10. super friendly. very knowledgeable. if they didn't know something, they admitted it and didn't BS us. they educated in a very fun manner. great attitudes.

I would def use this ship again. room was awesome. food was insanely good. the service was amazing. staff remembered your name and favorite drink after one night. simply perfect.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Just be prepared for weather to disturb your trip, especially if you are doing another segment before or after the trip to Antarctica. I know it makes sense to combine Antarctica with Patagonia but maybe in hindsight I'd do them separately. We missed an entire day of Patagonia and it's not like we had any extra day of excursions on the Silver Sea ship. we basically just sat around and read and ate.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
As noted before, you do a lot of things great. It's just when we needed you the most (relatively speaking, it wasn't life threatening), we felt the ball was dropped. It got worked out at the end but it just gave us a little anxiety while the process was going on. Your team needs to be more proactive. Surely we weren't the first group to experience a weather delay that was going to impact a transfer to Patagonia.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very. Your website is very informative. the webinar about packing and such was great. I felt very prepared. except for the confusion about which hotel we were staying at in Punta Arenas and which airport we needed to fly from. there was miscommunication from eithe you or Silver Sea and we ended up having to call Silver Sea direct.
