What was your most memorable moment?
The Antarctic peninsula exceeded all of my expectations. The scenery was breathtaking and the wildlife sightings were something I will never forget.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
They were fantastic. Totally safe, totally enjoyable. The most memorable one was the second to last one when a humpback whale decided to swim right between two zodiacs. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
Tell us about the expedition team
Super knowledgeable and friendly. The lectures were interesting, the commentary on the zodiacs was fascinating and the expeditions they set up for us were amazing.
Tell us about the Silver Cloud
Cabin was great and, although, right above the Zodiac platform, was in a perfect location to get to and from the mudroom quickly which was especially useful after the polar plunge. Food was great, drinks were wonderful, staff was outstanding. Only thing I would change is to have more consistent and faster WiFi. Would definitely have no issues with sailing on this ship again.

Do your research in advance and be prepared for the unexpected.

You need to do a better job monitoring the trips that your clients are on and your staff needs to be better prepared to jump in when plans go awry. We were not pleased with the service we received from our assigned representative when we had itinerary questions due to conflicting information as well as the service provided when plans needed to be modified on the fly due to weather conditions
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very. However, the pre-cruise information didn't really do a great job with the actual logistics of embarkation day as we received conflicting information as to what we needed to do. Instead of multiple emails telling us to get excited about our trip, one detailed one that coordinated better with Silversea and actually provided the information we needed would have been better.
