Tell us about the expedition team
Professional, informative, and gave excellent (and fun) presentations. Very attentive, enjoyed sharing meals with them. They made sure we were safe on the Zodiacs and I enjoyed participating in the Citizen Science projects.
Tell us about the Seaventure
Yes. Cabin size, cleanliness, and the attention of the room attendant were excellent. Food was very good with a variety of options.
Tell us about the Paddling
Really enjoyed the kayaking experience and would recommend to anyone from never had done before to experienced paddlers. Safety was paramount.
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Safety was emphasized throughout. Help was provided getting in/out of the Zodiacs especially for those of us who have some physical limitations. Expedition Crew made sure everyone had a chance to take photographs from the Zodiacs and pointed out wildlife alond the way.
Something Else?
Everything from beginning to end was perfect. I will be booking a trip with Polar Latitudes to east Greenland next year.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Seeing how Global Warming and Climate Change are affecting the Antarctic and Southern Ocean, the Glaciers, and how wildlife is being threatened as a result (decrease in phytoplankton and Krill fishing), I want to help in anyway possible.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Book an Expedition Cruise with limited passengers so you can enjoy all aspects of the experience.
