What was your most memorable moment?
Being checked out by a humpback whale while in a zodiak in Antarctica. It swam around our boat for about 7 minutes, right below the surface, but did not bump us. The humpback showed us it's mouth, flippers, fin, and fluked at the end. It was absolutely magical. Everyone in our boat including our expedition member were mesmerised. Our engine was off and we were all silent and captivated throughout the experience.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Phenomenal! Our drivers were just as interested and excited to see things as us! Everyone in the zodiacs were courteous to each other and tried to make sure everyone else could see.
Tell us about the expedition team
Knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and fun! Lectures were interesting, and you could really feel the genuine excitement of the expedition team in what they were talking about.
Tell us about the Seaventure
Cabin was larger than expected, and quite comfortable. I would love to choose this ship again, but unfortunately it is no longer a part of Polar Expeditions. The food was great!!
Tell us about the Paddling
Love love loved the kayaking. Wish we could have done more, but it was really lovely. Silent and serene.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, but difficult to know how to put into words for the moment.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Extremely excited, pretty well prepared.
