The Aurora team was excellent in every way. The last excursion they took us into an ice floe. Truly amazing!

The passion, expertise, and experience of every member of the expedition team was exceptional. The breadth of knowledge of each member was unexpected. Their humor was so much fun. Truly an exceptional team.

Great ship and amenities. Great hotel and restaurant staff. Very stable ship.
Tell us about the Kayaking
Truly an exceptional experience. It is not for the casual kayaker, but the team was awesome in improving our comfort with some challenging water. We got to see a perspective of Antarctica that the other passengers didn't see. The kayak team became like a family within the family.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
The ship was kept warmer than I expected, so I wish I had brought more medium weight casual clothing.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Mind expanding about the value of Antarctica in our greater global climate. The Aurora expedition team make me want to be a better citizen of the planet.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Swoop'sb original recommendation and help about which company to use was perfect. I can't imagine a better fit for me. There were multiple changes of contact people at Swoop that was a little strange, but it ultimately didn't affect my overall experience. I truly appreciate the recommendation of the first Heather we had contact with.
