What was your most memorable moment?
Honestly, ALL OF IT. I guess when I saw the first large ice bergs I was amazed. Then when we set foot on land in that first landing.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
All the drivers were knowledgeable, fun and wonderful. Scenery and whale watching was incredible. Kudos to Scottie.

I cannot think of a better team, Marc Jansen, Laura Mony, Scottie, Nate, such great guides!
Tell us about the Seaventure
Food and services on board were outstanding. Great ship.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
I can recommend Swoop and Polar Latitudes. Bring hand warmers and glove holders to attach your gloves to your jacket. Wear the layers you need, Be adventurous.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really. I had wanted to go to Antarctica since I was in the third grade and read about Admiral Byrd in "My Weekly Reader." I have always been fascinated with the White Continent and hope to go again one day.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Not at all. Everyone was OUTSTANDING.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very prepared. Very excited. Over the top excited and so glad we visited.
