Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Loved every one of them. Most memorable was chasing the whales and following any wildlife that was interesting.
Tell us about the expedition team
All were fantastic. Loved Will’s enthusiasm during his history lectures. Also Laura’s talk on climate change and global warming was outstanding.
Tell us about the Seaventure
Yes to all. Excellent experience. A perfect ship because it was smaller and more intimate experience. Rooms were comfy. Staff was great

It was interesting. The highlight was the tour with Jeremias
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Make sure they go to South Georgia Island. Seeing the hundreds of thousands of penguins in their natural habitat was an incredible adventure. The story of them bringing the island back from possible environmental collapse due to human interference was also amazing.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes. A new found appreciation for the interconnectiveness between Antarctica and the rest of the world was gained. We learned how worthy it is to save this natural environment.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Very helpful and overall very pleased. Only issue was it took multiple attempts via email to get Marianne to respond to our changes in transportation and hotel at the end of the trip. Since internet is limited. a quicker response would have been nice. She did, however take care of all of the issues. We appreciate Swoop in helping us to narrow down our trip options when planning and to help with packing questions, etc.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very To answered below won’t book another trip because we have many other places to explore.
