Cabin was great. You were right, I did use the veranda more than I expected to.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Cruise south fly north. Group that followed us spent 36 hours on King George Island due to changes in weather. They lost 2 days of their cruise and came dangerously close to losing the entire trip.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Absolutely. I have never felt as small and insignificant as I did when I was sitting on the kayak surrounded by that vast wilderness.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Keep up the good work. Not changing reps so often would have been helpful to maintain consistency in communication. I think I had 3 different reps.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I felt totally prepared and beyond excited.
