Tell us about the expedition team
The team was very educated and did very interesting and informative lectures. I very much enjoyed every one of them.
Tell us about the SH Minerva
The ship was so new and modern, the cabins were large enough, the fireplace a real bonus.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Pack light, the laundry is available.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really, but it was the most peaceful and relaxing trip I have taken. The 7th continent full filled my travel goals, but I still plan to continue to travel whenever I can.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Yes, the paper work was a nightmare. So much to fill out and resend, I had to send my doctors report three time before it was acknowledged . And over all just a lot of time sending things over and over. Also the insurance was very expensive I feel $2600,00 was real a terrible amount.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I was looking forward to the trip for many months and excited to finally go there.
