What was your most memorable moment?
Seeing orcas swimming around our boat, seeing the beautiful landscape, and enjoying the penguins. Polar plunge was very memorable as well. Enjoyed meeting new people on the ship.

Ship was nicely refurbished. Would try Oceanside’s other ship next time since it has stabilizers.

Much bigger than expected. Lots of crab. Irish pub was fun.

Great team. Fun personalities and very knowledgeable. Nice to have a doctor onboard.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Pack enough socks, bras and underwear for the whole trip. Needing to do laundry every few days is a pain. If you have quality snow gear, no need to buy a whole new wardrobe. If you have any doubts about your waterproof pants and jacket being fully waterproof, bring a second set. No need to pack boots unless you have legit mountaineering boots. Was able to do basic mountaineering and all other activities in the muck boots that we’re provided.
