Yes, food was excellent, restaurant crew was good. No qualms choosing it again but I would try the sister ship for a different experience
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Manage your expectations. I was told the Antarctic tirp is an expedition, not a cruise, so roll with the punches. None is set until the day of sailing/landing. I guess expect the worse, hope for the best?
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
In some way... it becomes more imperative to protect this part of the world and protect wildlife.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Swoop is a professional organization, very experienced in what it does. The team (Malva was our main contact) provides great advice and is easily accessible.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
We were overly prepared (had several base layers, hand warmers which we did not need). Were very excited to set foot on our 7th continent.
