Yes, lived up to expectations. Seeing humpback whales from own cabin

Yes - enjoyed them Yes - but didn't particularly like it when the sea was choppy! Landing on sea ice and having Baileys & hot chocolate in celebration

Remember that the weather changes all the time. They need to be able to except that a planned itinerary may have to change quickly because of weather

I was prepared. I was excited because my husband had really wanted to go for years and years.
