To a person, every one of the expedition team is exceptional. They know their stuff and make it easy for you to understand.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Yes, don't over pack. On seaventure things are very casual and you can wear jeans and casual shirts to every meal. Also, do not buy walking sticks as they provide them for you. This was not made clear in our pree Cruise information. Also, the over jackets that they give you are not completely waterproof. Expect that the end of your sleeve may get wet. Not a big deal
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, while always an environmentalist, it was even made more clear how important it is to preserve the environment.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Kate was good, but did not have all the information we needed. Sometimes other people had to get involved so she needs a little more seasoning.

A little over prepared, but very excited
