Enjoying Antarctica
I love how travel allows you to immerse yourself in the unexpected. I discovered this when I tobogganed down the Great Wall of China, saw a huge gathering of elephants in Kenya and zip-lined from the UAE’s largest mountain near Dubai!
Outside of Swoop, life is busy: I have four teenagers at various stages of school and university, so relaxing with a good book, taking a walk at the beach or enjoying a peaceful cuppa is essential and keeps me calm. Being a member of the National Trust, where I can visit heritage houses and beautiful gardens, means strolls with a touch of history are always in good supply, too.
