What was your most memorable moment?
The vast and magnificent beauty of the Antarctica Peninsula. The Gentoo, Adelie, Chinstrap penguins and their chicks were so cute and adorable. The birds, Killer whales, and the humpback whales were so beautiful. The glaciers, floating ice, icebergs, blue sky and white clouds, the sunset, the rain, wind, and the snow, and the whole environment were all magical. You have to be there to feel the power of Mother Nature and we were admiring Her in awe! My most memorable and unexpected moments: -Our Ocean Adventurer cutting through the float ice and entering the Lemuir Channel to cross the Antarctica Circle! - Our first landing and walking on ice in the Antarctica Pennisula! - When our zodiac was surrounded by several humpback whales who were swimming towards us and showed us their tails, heads, and backs!! - When our zodiac parked near an Alcove area with surrounding icebergs, floating ice, and snow falling on us, so quiet that we could hear the voice of the gentoo penguins talking to each other, so quiet that we could reflect on the wonders of this end of the world!

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
We enjoyed all the excursions and the guides were very professional and we felt safe at all times. Most memorable zodiac cruise: Close encounters with the Humpback whales, appreciating all the beautiful icebergs and listening to the Gentoo voices when the snow was falling, watching the penguin waddling in their colonies and their chicks.
Tell us about the expedition team
The expedition team were all friendly and helpful. The expedition lead, Shane, and the ship captain were outstanding in optimizing our experience in relation to the unpredictable weather. Mark's photography lecture was valuable and the slide show he made foe us was the best summary of our journey together.
Tell us about the Ocean Adventurer
I felt safe as it has gone through so many adventures with our wonderful expedition leader, Shane, and ship captain! The cabin was comfortable except the shower was a bit too small. I didn't like the shower curtain kept touching me when I showered. The ship needs to have better internet. We were told Ocean Adventurer would be retiring soon. Our cruise was the last journey it would make to the Antarctica! How blessed we are!!
Something Else?
I appreciate the lectures of the expedition team as they educate me the importance of taking care of our environment so that we could optimize the well being of our ecosystem. Everybody has to do their part to protect our environment so that the future generations can enjoy as well!

Decides first if you want to fly or cruising over the Drake Pass.

Yes. Everybody needs to do our part to protect the environment so that we could leave a better place for our future generations to enjoy!
