What was your most memorable moment?
The scale & beauty of the Antarctic landscape. We were immersed in the natural landscape while kayaking. This was a real privilege

Tell us about the wildlife
Yes it did live up to our expectations.. Our favourite encounters were the whales near us while kayaking. Penguins & close encounters with seals were great

We did not know what top expect. The city was easy to get around & quite pleasing
Tell us about Santiago
We enjoyed the visit to Santiago. It was disappointing about the protests & we were moved away from the city centre. ( although we understand why this was necessary & we appreciate the consideration in the move) The city tour was very interesting & we enjoyed that
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
We thought the fly/ fly to the ship was a good idea. However warning about the possible delays of flights due to weather would be useful for people to know in advance. Extra time in Putna Arenas may be a good experience
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
The Antarctic was amazing. It has confirmed our view, that we need to ensure we (the global community as well as us personally) look after our environment
