Isla Martillo

Isla Martillo is a small penguin island in the Beagle Channel in Tierra del Fuego. This island along with Gable Island belong to the nearby Estancia Harberton, and were bequeathed to the Bridges family that lives there thanks to their extensive work with the Yaghan natives from Tierra del Fuego and as a reward for helping the Argentine government to colonise this area. On Isla Martillo you can walk amongst the penguins and take some brilliant photos but only on guided boat tours.
